The First Coast to Coast Pools, Inc,
was originally created in Sarasota, Florida by Paul
Gaetano in 1989 after moving there from Arizona. Paul,
the brother of Janice (Gaetano) Quan, owner of Valley
Pool Consultants, already had years of experience
building pools in Arizona where he also taught his family
the business. He started by offering his services to
homebuilders in the fast growing West Florida Coastal
area. Working for companies such as U.S. Homes, Lennar
Homes, Ryland Homes, Centex Homes, Nohl Crest Homes,
Rutenberg Homes, Tivoli Homes, Westfield Homes, John
Cannon Homes, Pulte Homes, as well as thousands of
private homeowners, his company expanded rapidly and soon
grew into one of Florida’s largest and well respected
pool builders.
Wanting to expand and offer Coast to Coast Pools’ pool
building experience and innovative ideas to home builders
in the Phoenix Area, Paul called on his brother-in-law,
Steve Quan and sister, Janice to open Coast to Coast
Pools in Glendale, AZ. Steve and Janice already owning
Valley Pool Consultants, an owner-builder program, and
also both having been in and around the pool business for
over 20 years, opened up Coast to Coast Pools in 1998 to
offer a company that could work with homebuilders and
homeowners alike to achieve beautifully designed and
constructed pools and water features in new homes for a
fair price.
Steve and Janice operate the company as a family owned,
family based business along with a team of the best
subcontractors in the business. Our reputation alone has
allowed us to grow over the last ten years. We are
celebrating our 10 year anniversary in 2008.
