Steps to Building the Perfect Pool
Once we have completed the design of your pool, we move to the construction phase. Our goal is to make this a pleasant and fun experience for the new pool owner.

Step 1: Permit

Your pool design is submitted to the county for approval. Prior to the issuance of the permit, we visit your site to verify all measurements are correct and in compliance with all regulations. We then review the final approved layout and begin construction after the permit is issued.

Step 2: Layout

Your pool is staked out to the final plan. The pool will be laid out larger than the plan to allow for the thickness of the concrete.

Step 3: Excavation and Steel Reinforcement

After excavation, steel reinforcement is placed and rough plumbing is installed.

Step 4: Shotcrete Application

Our shotcrete crew pneumatically places the concrete to create the shape and structure of your pool.

Step 5: Rough Grade and Plumbing

With the concrete shell in place, the deck area is graded and compacted to reduce concrete cracking. Next, the remainder of the plumbing is installed. Finally, the pipes are pressure tested to assure there are no leaks.

Step 6: Deck Construction

Our deck crew then forms and pours the deck. Within 24 hours, the deck is saw cut to reduce cracking.

Step 7: Brick and Tile

If brick coping is chosen, it is installed before the deck is poured. If tile is chosen, it is installed after the deck is poured at water level.

Step 8: Deck Topping

If acrylic decking is chosen, the texture is applied along with the color coat.

Step 9: Pool Equipment

The equipment is now installed, utilizing our partner companies with the best warranties in the industry.

Step 10: Pool Finish

Once the final deck coating is complete, the pool shell is cleaned and prepped for the application of the pool finish. Immediately after the pool finish is applied, the pool begins filling from a regular garden hose.

Step 11: Cage

This phase is completed at the very end of construction.

Step 12: Final Grade and Startup

The yard is graded and cleaned. Our trained staff then begins to brush the pool and apply chemical treatment, which takes several days to balance. In our effort to provide our customers with excellent service, we offer a "pool school". If your home is a new construction and after you are moved in, please call us to schedule a time for one of our pool pros to instruct you on the proper operation and maintenance of your new pool. This will insure you many years of trouble-free enjoyment and relaxation.
